Église Saint-Cybard de Meilhan-sur-Garonne

Rebuilt in the mid-19th century, this church originally featured little interior decoration. From 1937 onwards, Masutti, assisted by Daniel Molinari, worked on the neo-Gothic choir: two marouflaged canvases depicting the Nativity of Christ and the Annunciation were placed opposite each other, framing the three windows of the apse. Five medallions depicting Christ and the four Evangelists are set between the ribs of the vault, evoking a starry sky.
The church is open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 7pm during school vacations, and the rest of the time on request from the town hall (05 53 94 30 04).
