The Gouré mill, built in 1590, is a typical Anjou cave mill, semi-troglodyte, which was fitted with Berton wings in the mid-19th century. It remained in operation until 1910. The mill was bought back in the 1970s and restored with the help of the Association des Amis des Moulins de l'Anjou (AMA).
Now fully restored and in working order, the mill is a reminder of a time when work was governed by the rhythms of nature. It is in working order and makes flour.
