La forêt départementale des Vaseix

Its large size, proximity to Limoges and network of trails make the Les Vaseix forest one of the most popular in the département.
A haven of peace and quiet, the forest offers visitors three signposted trails: 2.5 km, 3.5 km and 6 km long. The 3.5-kilometer trail, ?la balade de l?étang?, features information panels. They enable young and old alike to learn more about the forest and its special features: understand how the pond contributes to the site?s biodiversity, decipher the footprints left by badgers, foxes and other deer, observe the chrysopes, diptera and beetles that have found refuge in this preserved area, follow the lemovy route. The trails are also ideal for horseback riding and mountain biking.
