"Hutte de Sabotier" Chalets

Set in a quiet and peaceful location, we offer two 18m² wooden chalets, each sleeping four people (2 adults and 2 children), modelled on traditional clog-makers’ huts.
In the 19th century, peasants from the Bourbonnais region would come to spend the winter in Artense, in the Algères Forest, a little further upstream from L’Écureuil in the Rhue Valley.
They would build themselves a hut out of branches and make clogs.

On the ground floor: Living area with kitchenette, a bedroom with a double bed in an alcove within the main room, a shower room, washbasin and toilet.

On the mezzanine level, accessible via a ladder, there is an attic bedroom with two single beds.
