Description
Museum of Art and History Awarded the "Musée de France" label, the Albertville Museum of Art and History is located in the heart of the historic medieval city of Conflans. Its collections trace the history of Albertville from the Gallo-Roman period to the early 20th century. Tours are available.
Housed within the Maison Rouge, a sumptuous 14th-century residence listed as a Historical Monument, the collections trace the history of Albertville and its surroundings. From the Romans to early skiing equipment, and from masterpieces of sacred art to objects of rural life, the museum bears witness to the richness of Savoyard heritage.
