Houblonnière La KreuZe - Jardin atypique

Brasserie la KreuZe is one of the only breweries in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region to have its own hop barn. Launched in 2019, it features some fifteen different cultivars, mainly from Europe, the UK and the USA. Toni, the neo-hop-maker, has also planted local and experimental species, which he selects himself from the natural environment of the Creuse. The hops grown by Brasserie La KreuZe are produced naturally, without the use of any inputs, and are planted in an atypical way, using special structures in the form of teepees and yurts that are unprecedented in traditional hop growing. The gardens of the Brasserie la KreuZe are an original example of hop growing, but also of aromatic plants, whose purpose is to offer the brewer a unique and rich environment.
