Sur votre gauche, vous pouvez admirer un parc avec des saules pleureurs appartenant au mondialement célèbre Château Lafite Rothschild.
Le domaine de Lafite Rothschild surplombe Pauillac. C'est une très ancienne propriété, remontant au Moyen-Age.
Du château médiéval, il ne subsiste qu'une tour ronde, l'édifice actuel date du XVIIIe siècle.
Sa belle terrasse bordée d'une balustrade domine le parc et les chais en contrebas ont été aménagés par Ricardo Bofill.
