Lac du Rateau fishing site

Located at 2441 meters, on the edge of the Vanoise National Park, this lake is nestled in the splendid Vallée des Avals. You'll find Fario trout, rainbow trout and Arctic char.
Accessible on foot or by bike.

Near Refuge du Grand Plan

Recommended fishing technique: fly, dry fly or chironomid.

Number of fish allowed: 3 maximum, all high-altitude lakes combined. 23 cm minimum for trout and 35 cm minimum for char.

High-altitude lake permit required. The permit is limited to one unit per person per day.
