Plage de la Pointe aux Chevaux

The most tropical! Pointe aux Chevaux was once the departure point for herds of horses swimming to Île aux Oiseaux to graze on the salt grass. Today, the site has been restored and offers a panoramic view of the surrounding coastline and Ile aux Oiseaux. This little wonder is located between the villages of Petit and Grand Piquey. To best appreciate the superb panorama of Ile aux Oiseaux, you need to climb up a residential lane aptly named La Pointe aux Chevaux. The picture-postcard beach par excellence!
Bicycles, one-wheels, fat-bikes and scooters, whether electrically assisted or not, are not permitted on the beach.
