Just 15 minutes from La Baule and Pornichet, Château de Lauvergnac is just outside La Turballe, on the Guérande peninsula. Listed as a historic monument and sumptuously restored, it now lends its splendid setting to both private and business receptions.
At the end of a tree-shaded driveway, the white stone château, built in the 14th century, reveals a majestic and original architecture: two crenellated towers, the false-arched gateway, the gargoyles commissioned by the Count of Geloes (former owner) and the private chapel of Sainte-Barbe with its stained glass windows and slender spire. Owned by several seigneuries and noble families in the region over the centuries, the château has been a private venue for events and family celebrations since 2011.
