Les Amis de la cathédrale : la salle capitulaire

The Friends of Bayeux Cathedral association offers you a guided tour of the Chapter House. The canons met here very often to regulate the management of the cathedral. This room is richly decorated with paving made locally in the first half of the 13th century, including a small labyrinth, which can be compared with those in Chartres or Amiens. You can also admire a magnificent 15th-century mural depicting the Virgin Mary surrounded by angels, venerated by the canons....
