Ecolodge La Vertonne

Welcome to the seaside in a 30m² flat in a contemporary, bioclimatic wooden house just 5 minutes by bike from the beach and 200 metres from the shops. During your stay, make the most of the bikes available, the shared garden of around 1500 m² enclosed by hedges, with its vegetable garden, greenhouse and henhouse.

Come and discover the great beaches of the Vendée coast and recharge your batteries in the heart of the Natura 2000 area of the "Dunes, forest and marshes of Olonne". Local shops and the market are just 200 m away on foot, and the Dunes beach is just 1.8 km away. Nearby, enjoy a stroll and children's play area in the wooded Parc des Genêts. The many cycle paths and mountain bike trails, ideal for sporting holidays, are a great way to discover the region. 12 km to the south, you can visit the bay of Les Sables d'Olonne, and 15 km to the north, you can visit the fishing port of St Gilles Croix de Vie.

The accommodation comprises :

- A 12 m² bedroom with en-suite shower room, queen size bed (160x200), which can also be fitted with an umbrella bed.
- A living room with a kitchenette (microwave oven/grill, 2-burner induction hob, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, mixer, selective sorting bin) and a lounge with a sofa that converts into a single 80x190 bed and a 70x190 mattress.
- Separate WC.
- A south-facing terrace accessible from the bedroom and equipped with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue.
- A shared north-facing terrace, accessible from the living room, equipped with garden furniture.

Access for travellers :

On arrival, you can park your car in a private car park next to the accommodation. In the event of early arrival or late departure, you will be able to leave your luggage.

Exchanges with travellers :

I will be available to hand over the keys and show you around the house. If you need me, I'll be happy to share some good ideas for walks and other tips. Don't hesitate to ask!

Other comments :

- Household linen is provided, bed linen (beds made), small and large towels, table towels, tea towels and glass towels as well as basic necessities (liquid soap, shower shampoo, sponge, washing-up liquid, tablets, groceries).
- An end-of-stay cleaning service is available (at an additional cost).
- Internet access is free (Wifi).
- Bicycles, a children's trailer and a children's bicycle seat are available on a self-service basis. Surfboards are available on request.
- Baby equipment (high chair, cot, baby bath) is available.
- The studio is attached to another flat. You will have access to a shared laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, hoover, cleaning materials and products.
- Arrivals are from 5 pm and departures at 10 am.
- Please do not exceed the number of people indicated at the time of booking and inform me in advance of any visitors.

Bookings :

For all booking requests, please indicate the number of travellers (adults and children) and your dates of stay. Bookings for two nights or more, for weekends with public holidays, for a minimum of 4 nights during the All Saints', Christmas and February holidays, and for a week during the Easter holidays. The accommodation can accommodate 2 travellers and one child under the age of 2. Pets are not allowed, with the exception of assistance animals (with proof).

- Weekend rate at 40% of the weekly rate
- Mid-week rate (4 nights) at 65% of the weekly rate
- 5% discount for early bookings made at least 6 months in advance.
- Tourist tax is included in the rental price.
