Gite de l'Ecuyer

Here, you can enjoy the mildness of the Anjou region. The 460 m² private garden, enclosed by walls and planted with trees, faces south-west. A peaceful setting for your stay.

The 3-star gîte was completely renovated in 2023, with new insulation, furniture and decor. It has a large, light-filled living room with lounge, dining area and fitted kitchen. There is a bedroom with a double bed and a shower room with WC. A sofa bed in the lounge area provides additional sleeping accommodation.

The gîte is ideally located within the commune for walking and cycling, and in the heart of Saumur Val de Loire for exploring the region.
Directly from the gîte: you can go for a walk in the forest, discover land art and the botanical trail, hike on the GR3 or the signposted loop trail "Une histoire au fil de l'eau", which are 200 m away.
Also just a 3-minute walk away, you can sample local specialities at the Caves de Marson, a troglodyte restaurant serving fouées.
Horse-riding enthusiasts: the gîte is just a few minutes from the Cadre Noir and the Verrie racecourse. The historic centre of Saumur and the banks of the Loire, 5 km away, are accessible by car or bike.

The house is ideally situated just 10 minutes from the Loire, Saumur and its many tourist attractions, wine cellars and 5 minutes from the Cadre Noir de Saumur.
