Gothic sculpture in Volvic stone, built at Etienne Iveyrt's expense in 1486 (inscription in Gothic letters).
Knocked down and mutilated during the French Revolution, it was hidden in a barn by a resident of Royat. In 1841, Abbé Védrine, Royat's parish priest, decided to have the calvary restored. The mutilated crosspiece was restored to its original state. To enhance the sculpture, he purchased a pedestal in Aulnat, in a style similar to that of the cross.
