The wash house and the Beaupoivre mill
Description
In the fourteenth century, Château-Landon was one of the 17 drapery cities of the kingdom of France.
The river Fusain used to power the 18 mills which were established at the edge. They were moulding, treading the fabrics, carding, crushing the grain and the skins were tanned.
