Goblet d'Alviella Mausoleum & Saint-Etienne church

Rising twelve metres at the centre of the cemetery, this mausoleum, built in 1887-1888 by Count Eugène Goblet d’Alviella, symbolises the universal quest for the infinite. The ideograms inspired by different traditions, religions or philosophies include the following: “the Single Being has more than one name.”
