In Agon-coutainville, one of the rare eco-museums in La Manche has met with great success. It is dedicated to the marine environment and the coastline. Come and discover the history of fishing on foot, ancient and modern tools, edible species of the foreshore, local regulations and recommended fishing spots.

Since 2008, the APP2R has set itself the objective of promoting respectful fishing practices on foot: Recommend the use of non-destructive fishing gear on the foreshore; Educate the fishermen on soft fishing methods; Inform the fishermen on foot about minimum sizes, quotas, fishing periods and authorized gear; Communicate with local authorities and the general public to raise awareness of the problems raised by a dramatic increase in the number of fishermen in recent years
