LE GITE DU BESSON

Just an hour from Toulouse, in a peaceful hamlet in Cassagne in the Haute-Garonne, the Gîte du Besson welcomes you!
The gîte, which sleeps 12, has an uninterrupted view of the Pyrenees! Located in the Comminges-Pyrénées and at the gateway to the Couserans region, this beautiful 19th-century building guarantees a relaxing break.

The Gîte du Besson is ideal for a get-together with friends or family, halfway between Toulouse and the Atlantic. The large living room is perfect for business events or meetings with colleagues.

This 12-person gîte has a dormitory on the first floor with 2 double beds and 4 bedrooms, each with a double bed. A fully-equipped baby room (bed, changing table) is an extension of one of the 4 bedrooms.

There are also 2 bathrooms, a large living room with a wood-burning stove, opening onto the dining room, and a fully-equipped kitchen (freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge).
For a restful, relaxing stay in the countryside, take advantage of the 50m² terrace and garden, large swimming pool with views of the Pyrenees (shared with the owners), barbecue, billiards room, table football and darts.
The gîte has fibre optic access. Bed linen and towels are provided. The gîte is close to the owners' home (separate entrance, parking in front of the gîte).

This large-capacity gîte is 10 minutes from the thermal baths at Salies-du-Salat, 15 minutes from the artists' town of Martres-Tolosane and also from the medieval village of Auriganc and its prehistory museum. It is also 30 minutes from the town of Saint-Lizier and 40 minutes from the town of Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges. You can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities close to the gîte (cycling, gravelling, hiking, walking), and less than 30 minutes away in the Arbas and Aspet valleys (caving, paragliding, mountain walks, horse-riding, donkey trekking, etc.).
