In 1932, the Blondlot family bequeathed the property to the city of Nancy, whose only obligation was to transform it into a public park.
Located near Nancy station, at 4 quai Claude le Lorrain, the 65-acre Blondlot park comprises two distinct sections: a classically inspired parterre with geometric paths, on the site of the former house, and a large landscaped area with soft lines. The park features a kiosk, a pond and a playground.
It boasts a number of remarkable trees, some of which were planted in the early 20th century: chestnut, ginkgo, flowering ash, Japanese sophora, magnolia, Atlas cedar and handkerchief tree.
