The ferry that replaces a bridge connects the city center to the Parc du Confluent.
This ferry allows you, in a few minutes, to cross the Garonne from one bank to the other. It is on a flat-bottomed boat, guided by a ferryman, that you will reach the Parc du Confluent, an island of greenery ideal for family walks.
There may be times when the ferry may not be able to navigate. Information boards will inform you at the jetty. Indeed, to be able to cross the Garonne, it is necessary that :
The water level is not too high
The water level is not too low.
Weather conditions allow it (stormy weather, strong wind...).
Reminder of safety instructions :
Bicycles and scooters are not allowed on board.
You must stay seated during the whole crossing
You must wear life jacket and mask
Animals must be kept on a leash
