EGLISE SAINT-JACQUES
Description
Remarkable 12th-century parish church dedicated to Saint James, rebuilt and altered over the years.
Access: open to the public, but often closed when services are not in progress. It can be visited especially during masses or events.
Church of the XIIth century, Languedoc Gothic bell tower of the beginning of the XIVth century, Romanesque chapel of the rosary. Historic site of the battle of Muret.
Edifice enlarged and embellished over the centuries, contains a classified organ with exceptional sound and some works of art.
