REFUGE D'ESPINGO (FFCAM)
Description
The Espingo refuge is an ideal refuge for the discovery of the mountain environment. Bordered by the lakes of Espingo and Saoussat, it is the scene of many mountaineering actors, fishermen, hikers and friends of nature.

Located in the Larboust valley, a beautiful glacial valley, the Espingo refuge is halfway between the Val d'Astau, one of the last bastions of mountain pastoralism, and the high peaks of the Luchonnais (highest concentrations of 3,000 Pyreneans).So, whether you are alone, with family, with friends, we invite you to go on stage and come and share the show with us.

Sleeping Overview
In order to reduce wastewater going into the lake where an endemic specie of trout lives, the showers are reserved to people roaming (GR10, HRP) or remaining at the shelter at least 2 days.
