Tipi des Monteaux – Cheyenne

In the heart of the Saumur region, you can take advantage of a stopover for an unusual and unusual stay in the middle of nature. Discover Maria and Franck's Tipis, where you'll receive a warm welcome.
The property has two tipis for two people (Cheyenne Tipi and Apache Tipi), a larger tipi for four people, and a swimming pool (9x4.50x1.20m flat bottom), to share, open from July to September.

Each air-conditioned tipi is comfortably equipped: living room with kitchenette (hotplates, fridge, etc.), table, sofa (convertible), shower room with WC. Board games. Garden furniture and electric griddle. Baby equipment available on request. Gated parking.

The first tipis were opened in summer 2023. The owners are now offering breakfast and meals, subject to prior booking, if you don't want to go out and cook. Alternatively, they can point you in the direction of nearby shops and restaurants.

Les Tipis des Monteaux can be rented individually or together.

Opposite the tipis: the Ponds of Les Monteaux offer a whole range of activities: on one side, fishing (carp, pike and crayfish, ideal for children - €5 a day), games and slides for children, fitness trail, petanque area... 2nd pond: the ornithological reserve with bird-watching viewpoint!

The Tipis are also on the route of the Vélobuissonnière (Alençon-Saumur cycle route), on the stretch between Baugé and Saumur. This route is itself connected to other cycle loops and itineraries. An original stop-off after a day's pedalling, in the heart of the Authion market-garden valley.
