This gîte offers an exceptional location and setting in Saumur!

This very spacious 110 m² rental will enable you to visit the town of Saumur thanks to its proximity to the town centre, on the Ile d'Offard. Along the Quai du Marronnier, cyclists and pedestrians stroll to enjoy the magnificent view of the Loire, its bridges and the majestic Château de Saumur overlooking it.

This traditional tufa stone house comprises an entrance hall opening onto a 56m² living room with a small reading room, a large lounge with television and views over the Loire and the château, a fitted and equipped kitchen with dining area.

From this living room, you have access to the outside area behind the house. This is a very pleasant environment, conducive to peace and relaxation thanks to the view over the greenery and the park, and the few animals that roam around (dogs, cats, chickens... belonging to the owner who lives next door). You can enjoy your own private outdoor space of over 300m² with garden furniture, plancha and terrace... green spaces with trees and flowers giving you the impression of being in the countryside!

On the first floor, the landing leads to the bedroom, the toilet and a large cupboard/closet. The large 27 m² bedroom (160x200cm bed) with en suite shower room offers a magnificent view over the Loire and the château.

On the ground floor, there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as plenty of storage space. Toilet also on the ground floor.

For your convenience, beds are made on arrival, towels are provided and cleaning is included in the rental price. The gîte is a 15-minute walk from the station and town centre.

There are plenty of things to do during your stay thanks to the ideal location of your holiday rental in Saumur: Cadre Noir, caves, troglodytes, theatre, the châteaux of the Loire, Fontevraud l'Abbaye, museums... not forgetting the walks from your gîte on the banks of the Loire.

Adjoining the owner's house. Wifi internet connection. Public car park along the quay. Stays from Sunday to Sunday are welcome!

For safety reasons (presence of animals and access to the Loire), children are not recommended. This accommodation does not have baby facilities.
