Description
In natural and heritage setting of the Charterhouse Port-Sainte-Marie, a fun course for families with old, traditional and nature games, a relaxation area, watercolor tables, a reading box. Free and free access.
In natural and heritage setting of the Charterhouse Port Sainte Marie Discover 15 old and traditional games and play together. Explanatory sheets reveal their origins and rules. Under the trees listen to little tales by scanning the QR-codes.
A reading box invites you to sit on wooden armchairs and benches to read in the middle of nature. Using the step-by-step watercolor table, you can also exercise your artistic talents to capture the very special setting of the Charterhouse.
or with the help of an adventure book, offered for sale (2.50€), children will be able to discover in a fun way the Charterhouse, the monument, its fauna and its flora.
On the outskirts of the site, on the banks of the Sioule for the more athletic, a climbing rock is available or various hiking trails will allow you to discover the landscapes of the edges of Sioule.
Ideal location to discover the Combrailles with the family for a day and outside the main tourist flows.

Sustainable tourism
The Ludo park has been installed in this isolated heritage site with the aim of raising visitors' awareness of the built and natural heritage in a free and unrestricted manner. Landscaping that respects biodiversity and the use of recycled materials help to offer visitors an authentic experience in a preserved setting where they can learn while having fun.
Host portrait
Our association has chosen to perpetuate its project to preserve the Carthusian monastery by creating an adventure park, a place where visitors can learn about the built and natural heritage in a fun way. It creates and implements free recreational, educational and cultural trails (traditional games, the site, life in the days of the Carthusians, fauna and flora) to offer an authentic leisure destination in a protected setting.
