CLOSED FOR RENOVATION WORKS FROM SEPTEMBER 2026 TO MAY 2027
Situated between Caen and the coast, the Pegasus Memorial recounts the arrival of the first liberators from the British 6th Airborne Division on Normandy soil during the night of 5 to 6 June 1944. Documents, films and period artefacts. Guided tours of the museum.
In the grounds, you’ll find the famous Pegasus Bridge and a life-size replica of a Horsa glider.
Duration of a self-guided or guided tour in French or English: 1 hour 30 minutes. New: access all the museum’s content for free on your smartphone using QR codes displayed on the panels inside the museum and in the park.
