Château des Vallons is a building whose earliest records date back to 1259. It belonged to the de Caumont and de Pins families (1259), to the d'Albret family (1360) and then to the de Caumont family (1460), who rebuilt it after the Hundred Years' War.
In 2003, the current owner discovered a derelict building, partly roofless and windowless. From 2013 to the present day, the main part of the dwelling facing the church has been recreated, the rooms refurbished and the décor completely redesigned. Guest rooms and a tearoom are now open to guests.
The cloister and formal gardens have also been recreated.
It is now a timeless place, dear to the hearts of the enthusiasts who have brought it back to life.
