Rodolphe Candau is descended from a family of mountain guides based in Oisans. His talent, inspired by the mountain flora, fauna, fruit and poya, find expression in a variety of media, including paintings, furniture, fabric and signs.
Rodolphe is from Oisans - to be more precise, from the small village of Venosc. A ski instructor in the winter and trek leader in the summer, he takes advantage of the inter-season periods to develop his artistic creations. “My work partly depends on my inspiration and personal creations, but also meeting orders placed by my customers.”
