Au passage de l'Arton, un très beau sujet. Le saule pleureur est originaire de Chine. Il a été introduit en Europe en 1692. Le nom latin de babylonica lui fut donné par Linné d'après la légende selon laquelle il aurait abrité les pleurs des Juifs captifs à Babylone.
