Domaine Helaku - Gite Cholena

Domaine Helaku is located on a hillside in the Béarn region, in an exceptional setting at the center of 22 hectares of private meadows and woods, crossed by a preserved river with fish, with a dominant view over the surrounding rolling countryside, a haven of peace and serenity. The environmentally-conscious owners use no chemical treatments on their land, and have signed an agreement with the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels de Nouvelle Aquitaine for the preservation of wetlands and drylands. As a result, the estate is regularly inspected for the presence of rare or endangered species, and several remarkable and protected animal and plant specimens have been discovered.
The Cholena gîte, which means "bird" in Amerindian, is housed in a restored farmhouse with a modern, harmonious design for a pleasant, comfortable stay.
