Puymirol is a bastide, i.e. a "new" fortified town, built in the Middle Ages, overlooking the Séoune valley. Situated in the countryside, Puymirol is a peaceful but lively village thanks to its sports facilities (3 recently refurbished and lit tennis courts, a municipal swimming pool), its shops and its many activities (jazz festival, farmers' markets, medieval festival, truffle market, concerts....). Breathtaking views over the valley from the 6 communal gîtes (+2 gîtes for annual rental) located just above the ramparts and its covered way, adjoining gîte n° 1120, with direct access and free for the tenants to the communal swimming pool (3 pools) located just next to the gîtes.
