In Pontonx-sur-l’Adour, 8 minutes away, you will find the necessary shops (a butcher’s shop, bakeries, a supermarket, etc.). If you go to Montfort, be sure to explore the 13th century fortified town and the Chalosse Museum, on a 19th century property. In Mugron, hunt for decorative items at Rouge Garance (in an old wine storehouse) and then continue on to Poyaller Mill with its wildlife park in Saint-Aubin. Bonus: A renovated flat.
