At the gates of Dax, towards Sort-en-Chalosse, in the south of the Landes. The town hall offers you a furnished rental near the village, a fishing pond and a playground. At 3,5 km from there, Hinx offers you marked out paths of stroll. You have the choice between the Adour path and the Voie Verte de Chalosse. The Adour is a river, by following it, you will observe the fauna and the flora, you will discover the old port, the vestiges of the 1st thermal baths of Préchacq-les-Bains (still thermal station today), the mill of Onard, etc. The Voie Verte is an itinerary forbidden to motorized vehicles which can lead you to Montfort-en-Chalosse, a 13th century bastide and the Musée de la Chalosse (agricultural life in the 19th century) then to Mugron (heritage trail, Rouge Garance art gallery).
