The house is in the medieval quarter of Excideuil, a peaceful little town with local shops and cafes and, every Thursday morning, a bustling regional market. In less than ten minutes on foot you will reach the river and find yourself among green fields, woods, caves and rocks (for climbing). There's even an outdoor public pool open to all during the summer months. A short drive will take you to many well-known tourist destinations, including the choice of two swimming lakes within a 20 minute drive...
