Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste

Description

The oldest parts as the porch-church tower et some windows on Gambetta street are from the XIVth or the XVth century. In 1649, Louis de Milhet, architect for the King of France, established in Bayonne, draws the new plans for the chruch. The wedding of Louis XIVth and the infanta Marie Teresa in 1660 takes place in a church still in works.
