Moulin de Cocussotte

The Moulin de Cocussotte is a site listed in the parks and gardens of France, laid out on an island with basins, water circuits, waterfalls and pontoon framing a water mill with a moving water wheel, landscaped banks, mill spoiler.
In the garden are a traditional bread oven and a hexagonal kiosk
1st fish ladder established on the Dropt.
Sale of products : jams, flours, postcards, mini-brocante, plants...
The tour guided by a country storyteller has 3 parts:
- history of the mill and data on the vertical and horizontal waterwheels,
- history of the Dropt pipeline: projects, works, activities,
- discovery of an eel spat (very rare fixed trap for catching eels)
Refreshments offered at the end of the visit (large choice of cold drinks).
