St Martin's church dates from the late 13th century. Romanesque in style, it originally comprised a choir, a transept and a three-bay nave. After a fire in 1472, two side aisles were added, as well as a small chapel at the north end of the transept. The bell tower, struck by lightning in 1841, was rebuilt by Viollet le Duc in 1862.
