Châteauneuf-la-Forêt is located near Mont Gargan (731 m) and 30 minutes from Lac de Vassivière, at the gateway to the Plateau de Millevaches and at the foot of a 2,500-hectare, multi-species forest that encourages outdoor activities (500 km of marked mountain-bike trails).300 m from the town (with all amenities), the well-equipped campsite overlooks the 12-hectare lake that borders the forest. It's a quiet, family-run campsite. It offers 44 bare pitches, 10 mobile homes, 2 chalets and a heated swimming pool.
