ENS OF THE ST. FERREOL DESERT - Tours of France_POI

The St. Ferréol Desert Nature Reserve, on the Capelette Plateau in Dourgne, where the limestone grasslands are home to a rich and fragile biodiversity. And as we follow a trail around the plateau, we’ll discover the unique features of these habitats.
These habitats owe their survival to the presence of livestock on the site. A discussion with the herders will also provide insight into the site’s use for grazing and the benefits of these practices for biodiversity.
