Au Gite des Croquants

Au gîte des Croquants" is located in the heart of the Mauges in the charming village of Saint-Rémy-en-Mauges, just a few minutes from the Evre and Loire rivers.
During your stay, you can discover the splendour of the fauna and flora, the richness of the culture typical of our region, the beauty and serenity of the landscapes and simply enjoy a moment of relaxation in the SPA!

The gîte has been specially designed to accommodate couples and families.
On the ground floor, you'll find all the equipment you need for cooking, lounging and entertaining. Upstairs, you'll find a nicely decorated master suite with a 160x200 bed and direct access to the shower room. Children can enjoy a cosy mezzanine area with a 90x200 bunk bed and a space entirely dedicated to reading, games and other leisure activities...
Outside, if the sun comes out during your stay, you'll be able to take full advantage of the terrace, out of sight! And if, unfortunately, the weather turns bad, you can enjoy a PRIVATE JACUZZI with no restrictions!

Getting to the gite couldn't be easier: it's ideally located between ANGERS / NANTES and CHOLET. In this golden triangle lies the beautiful region of "Mauges", which means "Bad People" in local dialect!
Near the gite, you can enjoy: a bakery, bar, PMU (200 m), a playground (300 m), hiking trails (300 m), the pottery village of Le Fuilet and supermarkets (5 km). You can also explore the villages on the banks of the Loire: Le Marillais, Saint-Florent-le-Vieil and Ancenis...
And a little further afield, ANGERS, NANTES and LE PUY DU FOU are just 45 minutes away!

Other activities such as canoeing, hiking and swimming around the gîte are also a must. Throughout the year, the region is a hotbed of cultural and musical activity, with numerous festivals (ElectroGarden Festival, Fest'Ailleurs, Helfest, Les Podiums Florentais....).
