A rare example of the Spanish tradition in Mons, the Spanish House dates back to the XVIth and XVIIth centuries, but was extensively restored in the early XXth century. The ground floor has two XVIth century bay windows, but the first floor and the top floor open onto several small openings of the next century and of different sizes. A brick construction was added in the XVIIth century. Restored in the XIXth century, the Spanish House was later restored to its original state.
