Description
Dès le XIII siècle, les tanneries
s’installent sur les rives du
Vincou, apportant un nouvel essor économique. Chaque tannerie possédait son séchoir à peaux. Son plancher en châtaignier fut utilisé également pour le séchage des galettes de tourbe et de tanin jusqu’au début du XX siècle.
