Description
A Grand Cru Classé, Château de Pressac overlooks a south-facing knoll overlooking the Dordogne valley and the Saint-Emilion vineyards. The estate covers 42 hectares, including 36 hectares of vines. It was at Château de Pressac, following the French victory at Castillon-la-Bataille, that the surrender that put an end to the Hundred Years' War took place. It was also here that the Noir de Pressac grape, better known today as Malbec, was planted. Visits by appointment: 06 84 13 93 41
