Abbaye des Allois
Description
Attestée depuis le XIIème siècle, l’Abbaye des Allois hébergeait une importante communauté de religieuses bénédictines. Suite à son appauvrissement, l’abbaye est abandonnée en 1750. Les sœurs quittèrent les lieux pour s’installer dans le Quartier de la Cité à Limoges, donnant son nom à la rue des Allois. Il ne subsiste aujourd’hui de l’abbaye qu’un bâtiment converti en habitation. Certains éléments de façade témoignent de son histoire : écu sculpté, alignement de corbeaux, chapiteau sculpté…
