Carved into the heart of the Nugère Volcano lava flow, the Pierre de Volvic Cave is an iconic site in the Chaîne des Puys. Today, it offers an exciting experience for visitors of all ages with its original and captivating tours, steeped in history and legend.
The historical tour: follow the story of a 20th-century stone quarry operator through a moving Scénovision® documentary. In the lava vault, the story of his life and that of his craftsmen traces a journey through five consecutive spaces with changing themes.
The Cave of Lights: immerse yourself in an aquatic and vegetal atmosphere with this magical show created especially for young audiences. Sound and light projections take you on the adventures of Volvis, a little otter living in the cave...
The Father Christmas Cave: experience the magic of the festive season with your family as you discover Father Christmas' workshop. Throughout a sound and light show with fabulous scenery, follow the extraordinary adventures of endearing toys and elves.

A 75-minute self-guided tour in the form of a Scénovision presentation.
