Fishing trail – Lac de la Maison du Sidobre

Halfway between Lacrouzette and Brassac, this small lake, classified as a Category 1 water, offers you a lovely, shaded and easily accessible spot for fishing.
Classified as a Category 1 fishing lake. From Lacrouzette, take the D30 towards Brassac; continue for 2.5 km past Lac du Merle (private property).
You’ll find the lake on the website of the Sidobre Vals et Plateaux Community of Communes and at the Maison du Sidobre Tourist Information Centre.
Here you can fish for trout. There are a few trees providing shade, and you’ll also find picnic tables and sun loungers where you can have a nap before resuming your fishing trip.
Easily accessible, this lake is situated on the site of a former quarry that has been restored for everyone to enjoy.
Things to discover
- On site, you can also enjoy an interpretive trail covering the geology of granite, the local flora and fauna, and an educational display of around fifteen menhir statues.
- Inside the Maison du Sidobre, you can explore the ‘Granite and People’ exhibition area to learn more about working with this stone.
