The association « Les lacs du Maroly » offers during summer, a fishing activity in Lake La Cour. Attractive fishing as rainbow and fario trouts are regularly released.
Fishing is not supervised but regulated :
- Each angler will have to have a specific fishing license for the "Lac de la Cour".
- Only one fishing rode per angler
- Day pass : 3 catches maximum per day and per angler.
- Season pass : 2 catches maximum per day and per angler.
- Fish releasing prohibited.
- All rode fishing techniques allowed except artificial baits. Baiting prohibited.
At the welcome point on site, fishing rod rental, baits and drinks (for sale), barbecue. Few members of the association will be on site to explain fishing rules.
Every day, association members will be on site to make sure things are running smoothly and check that rules are respected. They will occasionaly control permits.
A welcome point, picnic tables and bins will be set up to welcome anglers and hikers.

Season subscription adult 115 € without CPMA (French fishing tax not already paid), 100 € with CPMA and child under 12 y/o, 65 €. Pack (license, rod, bait): 25 € adult, 18 € child - 12 years. Rod rental: 6 €. Bait: 6 € We recommend checking availability by phone before visiting to purchase fishing licences or hire equipment. Fishing licences are on sale at the Grand-Bornand Village Tourist Office and, in July and August, at the Chinaillon Tourist Office.
From 06/06 to 30/06/2026 daily between 8 am and 7 pm. Sales and rentals available on site on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. From 01/07 to 31/08/2026 daily between 8 am and 7 pm.
