Outside Paris, it's one of the few examples of Italian-style theater and one of the most beautiful in the Ile de France region.
Built from 1905 in a Louis XIII style combining brick and stone, the theater was inaugurated in 1912.
The building comprises a reception hall, a curvilinear theater, a reception room for specific cultural events, a foyer and adjoining rooms.
The theater is listed in the supplementary inventory of historic monuments. Classic and imposing, strongly integrated into the urban landscape, the theater is a major pole of attraction and cultural and artistic identity within the city.
The theater is not open to visitors outside of performance times.
Theater bar: open before each show, offering drinks and cold snacks, 1 hour before and 1 hour after the show.
