Your travelling companion will lighten your load on your walks in the central Pyrenees.

Céline and Nicolas offer a range of walking options with a pack donkey to help you discover the Pyrenees; free walks, accompanied walks or walks adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Situated between the foothills of the Pyrenees and the high mountain range, straddling the Ariege Pyrenees and Comminges Barousse Pyrenees Regional Nature Parks, far from the tourist crowds, let yourself be carried away by the peace and quiet of our mountains. For decades, livestock farming has shaped this area into a landscape of hedged farmland, dotted with picturesque little villages, dominated by large, deep forests and with the high peaks as a backdrop. It's an undiscovered region, unspoilt by mass tourism, authentic and mysterious, the ideal place for your family hikes, as much for its accessibility as for the quality of its landscapes.

They use donkeys bred by them, for walks ranging from one day to several days. Our donkeys are first and foremost travelling companions, taking the weight of your rucksacks off your shoulders.

Animals: dogs are not allowed on the farm.
On site (booking required): yurt accommodation, table d'hôtes, drinks for sale, shaded area by the river.

The ideal companion for your nature outings, it will relieve you of the weight of your rucksacks and become a real partner on the road...

Thanks to our "escargoline", hiking is accessible to all. This little all-terrain
This little all-terrain cart allows us to take all kinds of people for a ride. A safety system
to quickly detach the donkey from the car in the event of a problem. After the
presentation of your donkey and its team, we'll set off on the "Tour de Pays" itinerary to discover the valley.

Invitation to the bivouac :
Trapper's evening - Pyrenees - Arbas Valley
Come and immerse yourself in nature for an evening. After a 2-hour climb to the Montmajou clearing in caravan mode with the donkeys in charge of the bivouac, we set up camp up there in the large meadow. On the programme: setting up the paddocks for the animals, making tents (poles and sardines), cooking over a wood fire (without a lighter) and setting up the photo trap for the night, etc.

Mountain immersion stay - Central Pyrenees
In this itinerant package, you'll be on your own all day with your donkey and a guide, and every evening we'll meet you in the mountains with all the supplies you need. We set up the bivouac together, building the poles for the cotton tents, lighting a fire without a lighter, making a tripod, cooking over a wood fire... so much to discover and share as a family for a real adventure...

Star trekking break :
A farm stay combining comfort and hiking; you stay in one of the camp's 3 yurts on a half-board basis and hike every day with your donkey. As well as your nature outings, you'll have plenty of time and freedom to look after your donkey (brushing it, feeding it). This package is particularly suited to families with young children or hikers looking for comfort...
