Saint-Germain Square

Saint-Germain Square with its majestic chestnut tree and the Fountain of the Volunteers of 1830.
Initially erected on the Square Régnier-au-Long-Col, this fountain dedicated to the memory of the Mons fighters of 1830 was inaugurated on 1 June 1930 by Mayor Victor Maistriau, on the centenary of the Belgian revolution.
